A good way to start taking less sugar is to control how much you add to other foods.

For example, gradually reduce the spoonfuls you add to coffee. The same with tea, yoghurts or cereals. And the same goes for the proportion of honey, syrups, jams, artificial sweeteners, or sauces, such as the ketchup you eat.




The idea is to progressively get used to the taste of unsweetened foods or drinks so that you don’t have to add anything to them.

But doing it gradually will prevent you from feeling the anxiety that could provoke you to do it drastically, not having something (the sugar) that your body is demanding.
