When it comes to reducing sugar consumption, it is useful to know other names under which this element may have been added.
For example, the food industry uses different names to advertise a product as zero in sugars, while adding fructose (the sugar naturally present in the fruit).
Some of these names are: malt, syrup, starch, fruit juice or concentrate or those such as sucrose, glucose or lactose, among others.
