Trans fats are found in almost every processed food there is. They are usually hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated. And if your processed food doesn’t have, it’s because the grams per serving is low. But it’s still there! And studies indicate that less than one gram affects your health.
Trans fats generate inflammation and feed all the diseases mentioned above. Margarine and lard are also trans fats, so fried foods are left out. The same goes for microwave popcorn and even doughnuts.
