The 30 most expensive dog breeds in the world

4. Bedlington Terrier

This is a rare breed that was bred around 1825 by English miners to find the trail of rats in the mines and eliminate them. It is probably the most different from the rest of the Terrier, as it looks more like a lamb than like a dog. The normal price of one of these dogs is about $1800 and health expenses can reach up to $3700 in regular checkups. This clever breed requires occasional grooming, and each session costs about $50. The average lifespan of a Bedlington Terrier is 14 to 16 years.
