30 Gardening Tips You Need to Know

8. Salt for plants

Another amazing home remedy you can try on your gardening chores is to make your own fertilizer. Don’t worry, this doesn’t mean treating plants with harmful substances!

In fact, one of the best natural fertilizers is made very easily at home, using Epsom salts. Simply mix two teaspoons of bath salt with about a liter of water and sprinkle at the base of your plants. If you do this once a month, you’ll be amazed at how well your plants will grow! Keep in mind that Epsom salt is very rich in magnesium, so it is good for plants. Epsom salt is also ideal for a very green lawn. To benefit from its benefits, apply 1.5 kg of Epsom salt on a plot of 25 m2; this treatment should preferably be applied in spring.
