This may have been good news for Harry and Meghan, as the UK tabloids haven’t exactly made their lives a cakewalk. In October 2019 Meghan had given an emotional interview to journalist Tom Bradby, saying of the media scrutiny, “The biggest thing I know is that I never thought this would be easy, but I thought it would be fair.”

And there were plenty of stories that seemed to paint Meghan in a bad light. In November 2018, for example, there was speculation that Meghan had caused Kate Middleton to burst into tears. Apparently, the Duchess of Sussex had argued with her future sister-in-law over a bridesmaid dress for her daughter, Princess Charlotte.
