Cities that never existed but haunted the world

4. Lost City of “Z”.

This city would be the capital of a civilization that Percy Fawcett talked about in his works. The myth was based on Manuscript 512 of the Portuguese colonial authorities in Brazil, dated 1753. This document spoke of a highly developed Greco-Roman civilization. This was clearly contradictory to what had been found so far. Several expeditions were made to find it in the 19th and 20th centuries, and Fawcett himself disappeared along with other researchers in the Brazilian Mato Grosso in 1925. Today nothing is known of this city.

5. Wonderland

Wonderland is the place where Alice lives her adventures in the novel written by Lewis Carroll in 1865. You may have read this work in which Alice interacts with talking rabbits, moving figures and other fantastic beings that appear in the novel. This is probably one of the most popular imaginary cities in history.
