Cities that never existed but haunted the world

8. Oz, one of the best-known cities that never existed

Oz is the imaginary city described by Lyman Frank Braun in his 1900 novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The city is inhabited by supernatural creatures such as tin wizards, lions and scarecrows that teach the protagonist valuable lessons. It is still a famous city because the Wizard of Oz is one of the most widely read children’s novels.

9. Neverland, the cities that never existed in fairy tales.

Neverland is the island where Peter Pan and Wendy, written in 1904, have their adventures. On this island, children never grow up, have no responsibilities and live great adventures. The interest of this icon is such that cartoon movies have been filmed taking it as a reference. If you have seen the Peter Pan movie or read a comic book, you know what we are talking about.
