Burrell responded to the documentary by telling the Good Morning Britain hosts, “I knew Harry was devastated, and that walking behind his mother’s coffin in front of the world was just terrible. And that had an amazing impact on him. He feels the media hounded her to her death.”

Given Burrell’s willingness to make such provocative statements, then, it is perhaps no surprise that he has been invited to Good Morning Britain again in January 2020. Famously, that month Harry and Meghan had revealed that they would be stepping down from their positions as royals. And after the former butler waded into the drama, he once again drew parallels between Meghan and Diana.
